What Are The Types Of Investment?

Foreign investors may invest in 3 different ways. Accordingly, investors;

a. May invest in enterprises or ongoing projects which has been established after 29.11.1990

b. May invest in enterprises or ongoing projects which has been established before 29.11.1990

c. May establish a new enterprise

Required Visa Types For Investing In the USA

Foreign individuals are required to have a visa in order to enter The United States of America. There are 2 main types of visas;

Non-immigrant visas (for temporary visits)
Immigrant visas (for permanent domicile)

The USA visas are issued by the Department of State and it could be applied for visas through the USA embassy or consulate. Additionally, a valid passport is also required.

EB-5 visa shall be given to investors who fulfill the conditions which are stated in Immigration and Nationality Act and this visa entitles its holder to have green card.

In case employees who are working as a manager, executive or an expert in the company and wish to move to the USA for establishing an office of the company, are required to apply for L-1 Intracompany Transferee Visa, instead of EB-5 visa. Employees may stay in the USA for up to 7 years with this visa and they may bring their spouse and children under the age of 21, however, they may also be subject to another type of visa which could have different conditions L-1 visa.
