Decision on the Measures to be taken for Procession of Personal Data of Special Nature has been published 7 March 2018

It was stated that the adequate measures to be taken for procession of personal data of special nature within the scope of Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“the Law”) shall be determined by the Board of the Protection of Personal Data (“the Board”). The decision dated 31.01.2018 and numbered 2018/10, in which the adequate measures that data controllers should take for procession of the personal data of special nature are determined by the Board on the basis of mentioned authority and duty, has been published in the Official Gazette dated 07.03.2018 and numbered 30353.

In the mentioned decision lists the details on preparing policies by data controllers for procession of the personal data of special nature, measures for the employees who participate in procession of data, measures for the electronic or physical environments in which data are kept and the points to be considered while transferring this kind of data.
