"Regulation Amending the Regulation on License in Electric Market" Has Been Published 19 December 2017
Regulation Amending the Regulation on License in Electric Market (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 15.12.2017 and numbered 30271. With this Regulation, matters such as acquiring certain amount of shares of legal persons holding a license in electric market, transfer of shares, pledging on the shares and share pledge are subjected to approval and it is stated that in case the necessary transactions could not be completed within 6 months as of the approval date, the share transfer shall be considered as null and void. Additionally, it is regulated that the license amendment request is required to be made within 3 months as of date of the completion of the transactions.
