“Regulation on Geographical Indication and Traditional Product Name Emblem” Has Come Into Force 29 December 2017

“The Regulation on Geographical Indication and Traditional Product Name Emblem” has been published in the Official Gazette dated 29.12.2017 and numbered 30285. With this regulation, the emblem to be used in geographical indication and traditional product names have been determined and it was regulated that the provisions of the Industrial Property Law numbered 6769 could not be applied in cases where it was used without the emblem determined in said Regulation.
