“Regulation Amending the Regulation on Commercial Advertisement and Unfair Commercial Practices” was published by Ministry of Customs and Trade 6 June 2017

Regulation Amending the Regulation on Commercial Advertisement and Unfair Commercial Practices was promulgated in the Official Gazette dated 04.01.2017 and numbered 29938. Accordingly, amendments regarding especially comparative advertisements and advertisements related to electronic communication services have been made.

The most remarkable amendment made by this Regulation is that effective date of the provision, which enable usage of name, trademark, logo or other distinctive features of competitors in comparative advertisements under certain conditions, which had been previously specified as 31.12.2016 was changed to 01.01.2018.
