"Regulation Amending the Regulation on License in Electric Market" Has Been Published 19 December 2017
Regulation Amending the Regulation on License in Electric Market (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 15.12.2017 and numbered 30271. With this Regulation, matters such as acquiring certain amount of shares of legal persons holding a license in electric market, transfer of shares, pledging on the shares and share pledge are subjected to approval and it is stated that in case the necessary transactions could not be completed within 6 months as of the approval date, the share transfer shall be considered as null and void. Additionally, it is regulated that the license amendment request is required to be made within 3 months as of date of the completion of the transactions.

The Law on the Amendment of Some Taxation Laws and Other Laws numbered 7061 (“the Law”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 05.12.2017 and numbered 30261 and came into force. Pursuant to the Law;
The definition of Letter of Guarantee has been added to Public Procurement Law numbered 4734, The regulation in Provisional Article 3 of the Cheque Law numbered 5914, which regulates that cheques cannot be submitted before the date of issuance written on it has been extended until 31.12.2020 and, The regulations on Initial Coin Offer (ICO) have been added to Capital Market Law numbered 6362. The Lowest Limit of Administrative Fine Given According to the Act on Protection of Competition Has Been Designated. 4 December 2017
The lowest limit of administrative fines which was given according to Article 16 of the Act on Protection of Competition numbered 4054 has been designated. Where it was designated as 18.377,-TL (eighteen thousand three hundred seventy seven Turkish Liras) on the year of 2017; it has been designated as 21.036,-TL (twenty one thousand thirty six Turkish Liras) for the year of 2018. The related regulation of Competition Board has been published in the Official Gazette dated 02.12.2017 and numbered 30258.

"Regulation Amending the Regulation on Processing and Protecting the Privacy of Personal Health Data" Has Been Published 24 November 2017
Regulation Amending the Regulation on Processing and Protecting the Privacy of Personal Health Data (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 24.11.2017 and numbered 30250. This Regulation abolished the regulations regarding the Commission of Personal Health Data completely and brought important changes regarding the some permissions that needs to be taken for collection, processing and national or international transfer of personal health data and accessing to such data.

Regulation on Working Procedure and Principles of the Board of Protection of Personal Data (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 16.11.2017 and numbered 30242. This Regulation regulates the working procedure and principles of the Board of Protection of Personal Data while performing its duties which has been previously envisaged by the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“the Law”) such as regulating the matters left by the Law to it, evaluating the complains specified by the Law and issuing the permissions.

Regulation on Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 28.10.2017 and numbered 30224. This Regulation regulates the procedure and principles of deletion, destruction and anonymization of personal data which has been previously envisaged by the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 that the same shall be regulated under the regulation.

The Law on Labor Courts (“the Law”) numbered 7036 has been published in the Official Gazette dated 25.10.2017 and numbered 30221. Pursuant to the Law, former Law on Labor Courts numbered 5521 which was published in the Official Gazette dated 04.02.1950 and numbered 7424 has been abolished.
