Public Procurement Authority Published Regulations Amending the Public Procurement Application Regulations 11 July 2017
Public Procurement Authority amended the regulations named Goods Purchase Procurement Application Regulation, Service Purchase Procurement Application Regulation and Construction Works Procurement Application Regulation by new regulations promulgated in the Official Gazette dated 29.06.2017 and numbered 30109. It should be stated that these amendments are especially related to apostille applications.

According to this amendment; 4th Paragraph headed “Administrative jurisdiction decisions in the process of application of the Contract” has been added to Article 25 headed “Issues Regarding the Application of the Contract” of the Public Procurement General Communiqué which was entered into force by the promulgation in the Official Gazette dated 22.08.2009 and numbered 27327.

The Industrial Property Law numbered 6769 (“Law”) entered into force by its promulgation in the Official Gazette dated 10.01.2017 and numbered 29944. Articles of Regulation on Electricity Generation without Licence in the Electricity Market headed Connection Point Selection, Identification Surplus Energy and Determining the Price of the Surplus Energy and Payment Terms were changed by abovementioned Regulation.

Data Protection Board has commenced the studies regarding secondary legislation of Law on Protection of Personal Data 1 June 2017
It is stated in paragraph 4 of Provisional Article 1 of Law on Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (entered into force by promulgation in Official Gazette dated 07.04.2016 and numbered 29677), that the secondary legislation regarding this Law shall be entered into force within 1 year following the date of publication of the mentioned Law. Although any regulations have not been promulgated up until today, the Data Protection Board is carrying on its studies within the scope of preparation of regulation drafts.
